FAQ’s

Please read our members handbook that entails all information that you need to be aware of.

What should my child wear?

All members must attend classes appropriately dressed for health and safety purposes.

The club wishes for its members to wear the Uniform provided such as leggings, shorts, t-shirts and Leotards, so all members look and feel a part of the club.

Or alternatively, your own clothing which is the same as above (with no zips or buttons).

How can I order and purchase club kit?

Please visit the ‘Academy Uniform’ page (link can be with the ‘Customer Portal’ section as well as the bottom of the webpage) to view all club uniforms and details on how to place your orders.

Is my daughter able to wear earrings and headbands?

The club has a no jewellery policy.

Earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, rings and other body piercings are not permitted to be worn into the gymnastics facility.

Members wearing any form of jewellery will invalidate their own personal British Gymnastics insurance and may cause injuries to themselves from the physical activities and equipment.

Elements Gymnastics Academy will not take responsibility for any lost or stolen items if brought into the facility.

Headbands are also not permitted to be worn within their class. Members hair must be tied back or styled suitably with basic items. I.e bobbles and plain smooth hair clips.

Is it safe to leave my children and return for collection?

We advise for the children aged between 3 and 4.5 years of age, parent/guardian/carer MUST stay on site (within the car park) for the whole duration of their class for health and safety purposes as well as encase of any accidents etc. Members ages 5 years and onwards, you’re welcome to drop off and return promptly at collection time.

All issues raised with the club’s Welfare Officers will be dealt with in the appropriate manner – as laid out in the club’s Complaint and Grievance Procedure Policy. All accidents or incidents will be recorded by the club and reported through the correct channels and Regular Health and Safety checks are carried out by EGA and recorded accordingly.
